With the first team traveling to leonard Stanley missing 5 players it was going to be a stern test.
The start of the match saw QWFC dominate and press the home side back and limit them to the odd break away but was calmly dealt with by the rear guard. The game ebbed and flowed with the first real chance falling to Skipp who striked the ball eratically not realising he had more time to deliver the perfect finish, the second time he opened up a chance only to be denied by the home keeper. Chance after chance fell to the away side but the goal just didnt come. The second half saw QWFC climb the slope which actually helped as we began to pass the ball better and with this opened up the hone defence. Pressure was beggining to be applied and with this came the first goal. Rouse drove an almost van basten style goal which silenced the side from Stanley.
Now QWFC were in the driving seat now and the second goal came from substitute Benard who's calm finish made it two.
This seemed to anger the home side and the next thing we knew we all witnessed a player using banner as a weights bag getting in a quick 4style combo. Result was dismissal!
Skipp then sealed the game and made it three with a sublime finish to take his season goal count to 2 in 4.
Clean sheet and a better performance from QWFC.
motm went to J Lee for his performamce which was excellent from start to finish.
Up the QWFC.
