Impressive preformance bags 3 points

Quedgeley returned to legaue action with their best preformance of the season easing past lowly Thornbury.

The game was all over within the 1st half. Quedgeley took the lead when Chris Riley's miss hit shot dropped to Dean Hankins who crashed the ball into the roof of the net from 10 yards, which the goal keeper didn't even bother to move for.

After a few missed chances Quedgely doubled their lead when Ant Sparrow's left foot shot from 20 yards took a wicked deflection to wrong foot the goal keeper. 2-0 very soon became 3-0 when Chris Riley's looped effort from the egde of the area dipped in, the dubios goals pannel however were out as many belived this to be a cross, not that it mattered!

The second half was played at Quedgley's pace with the home side happy to retain proccesion and close out the game. The only real effort of note was when a Thronbury striker struck a post late on.

Three well earned points by the lads and a lot of postives to be taken on this preformance. If Quedgeley play like this all season then very few teams in this league will contain them.
